Community Perceptions On Development Objectives : UNDAF

In mid-2017 the Inter Agency Common Feedback Project (CFP) won a grant from the UN Development Operations Coordination Office (DOCO). The purpose of this grant was to build on the humanitarian work the CFP has been doing around community voice and accountability, and pilot its approach in a development context. Specifically, the purpose of this project was to capture the feedback from the least developed communities on their priorities around the four themes of the 2018-2022 UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF).

The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) forms the overall framework for the United Nations Country Team’s (UNCT) work between 2013 and 2017. This document comprises three main parts. The first part describes the key development challenges facing Nepal, taking particular account of its post-conflict, transitional context. This part also describes the UNDAF development process, its framing principles and core strategies, an overview of results-based management (RBM) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and coordination and implementation mechanisms.

Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme to Address Equity, Social Determinants, Gender and Human Rights in Nepal

Nepal has shown its commitment to adolescent health through being a signatory to the  International  Convention  on  Population  and  Development  (ICPD)  Programme  of  Action.   Nepal was also involved when the WHO South East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) developed  the Regional Strategy for Adolescent Health and Development in 1996. In 1998 Adolescent  Sexual  and  Reproductive  Health  (ASRH)  was  included  in  Nepal’s  National  Reproductive  Health Strategy.
