A technical presentation was delivered by UN Women Nepal on its efforts and initiatives for the implementation of SDG5 and mainstreaming GEWE at the National Consultation workshop for SDG5 indicators- Development for local Provincial level in the context of Federal System. The workshop was organized by Beyond Beijing Committee as one of the founders of “Nepal SDG Forum of CSOs” from 25 to 26 April 2018.
The presentation primarily focused on: (a) SDG-5 custodian and update on the Tier classification status, (b) UN Women Nepal’s strategic priorities for 2018-2022, and (c) Flagship Programme Initiative (FPI) on Gender Statistics in Nepal
