A media interaction was organized on 6 March 2018 at UN Women Nepal premises to mark the International Women’s Day 2018. The interaction also intended to strengthen the visibility and strengthen the position of UN Women as a reliable partner and a thought leader in GEWE amongst the policymakers as well as rightsholders in Nepal. The media was further engaged to contribute to the process of mobilizing awareness and action in challenging the beliefs and social practices which underlie gender inequality in Nepal and to bring about social norm change.
